Mark’s theme is - Jesus backed up His words with action
Luke’s theme is - the compassion & humanity of Jesus
John’s theme is - the deity of Jesus

40 But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me."
41 But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

1. She accused The Lord
.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

2. She got distracted
.
41 But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;

and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. 34 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

A listening heart:
1. You are worried or distracted by many things.
2. You’re frustrated because you feel like you are doing all the work.
3. You feel like Jesus doesn’t care about your situation.
4. You’re still in the kitchen while others are worshipping God.
