The purpose of the Abundant Life's Inspirational Care Ministry is to provide compassionate and caring support and services to meet the needs of our church family who are experiencing hardships. The team ministers to the body in various ways including the following:
- Visiting the ill or elderly at home or hospital.
- Maintaining contact with and encouraging those who are unable to attend services due to illness, personal crisis, or transition.
- Supporting family in caregiving.
- Comforting the bereaved.
How You Can Help
Card Ministry: Ministering to those of our church family who are ill, grieving, or transitioning through a difficult time, by sending cards and notes of encouragement.
Meals of Love: Preparing meals for those in our church family who are recovering from surgery, are homebound, are ill, are bereaved, or are welcoming a new baby. A simple, warm meal is given to show our loving support.
Patient Visitation: Personal visitation to those who are in the hospitals, nursing homes, as well as those recuperating at home.
