Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

~ Proverbs 17:9

Whoever conceals an offense promotes love, but whoever gossips about it separates friends.

~ Proverbs 17:9

Note: Many versions say … don’t dwell on it, don’t gossip about it, don’t even repeat it.

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

~ 1 Peter 4:8

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

~ 1 Corinthians 13:7

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.4Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.6It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

~ 1 Corinthians 13:3-6

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

~ Proverbs 13:10

After the flood, Noah began to cultivate the ground, and he planted a vineyard. 21 One day he drank some wine he had made, and he became drunk and lay naked inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw that his father was naked and went outside and told his brothers. 23 Then Shem and Japheth took a robe, held it over their shoulders, and backed into the tent to cover their father. As they did this, they looked the other way so they would not see him naked.

~ Genesis 9:20-23
