Abundant Life Community Center: What Hope Looks Like

In the summer of 2015, the Abundant Life Community Center (ALCC) officially opened it’s doors to help the hurting, impoverished and disenfranchised families of Duval County from our current location. We were able to provide After School Tutoring, Youth Summer Lunches, as well as our Food & Clothing programs which are all free of charge. Due to the COVID Pandemic, we are currently only offering a Drive Thru Food Giveaway every Saturday from 9am - noon. Those in need of food can receive a large family box of food. No paperwork or documentation is needed. In 2020, we were able to feed over 96,000 individuals in our community! Our plans for the future include:

After School Tutoring

Providing mentoring and tutoring programs for school-aged children in our community during the school year Each afternoon the children will be provided homework assistance, light snacks as well as mentoring and encouragement. Our volunteers will also provide the children with structured outdoor play and indoor activities.

FREE Summer Lunches

Serving our community as a Summer Break Spot where free lunches will be provided, each day, from Monday through Friday, the entire summer long for children up to age 18.

Food & Clothing Pantry

Our Food and Clothing Pantry provides gently used clothing for infants, children, and adults, as well as assistance for families in need of non-perishable food, meats, and baked goods.

We also provide ready-to-eat meals for our community's homeless and offer guidance and direction to those who are trying to improve their lives.

How You Can Help

Food & Clothing Pantry -

Thursdays & Fridays - 9 am -3 pm

Volunteers will help organize and manage incoming clothing and food products; receiving and unloading our food truck. Sorting and stocking items in our pantry, and filling family sized food boxes.

Saturdays - 8am - 12:30

Assist with the food distribution during our normal operational hours, and help with tear-down and clean-up activities.
