The mission of Pray 4 Clay
is to see the presence and power of God meet the felt needs and the
systemic challenges of our communities and the world at large through
the implimentation of prayer evangelism.
What is Prayer Evangelism?
Prayer
Evangelism is evangelism based on action and prayer. We need to begin
in our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces. It is about building
relationships and being willing to pray for people. Bringing our
neighbor's real needs before God and seeing God touch them, really opens
the door for opportunities to pray with them and to share Christ.

I was just in Divine Touch Hair Salon today to pick up something from my
friend Kathy that works there. She also gave me a postcard flyer about
Abundant Life and another lady that works there told me that she and a
bunch of Abundant Life members went through subdivisions and prayed for
families. I told her that I had seen them a few weeks ago with orange
shirts going though my subdivision (Southampton) and I wasn't sure for what.
My husband has been laid off for a year. He has been working for little
to no pay at all trying to help my step-dad get his business back up
and running. Finally, the business got some money from investors and my
husband is now making a salary.
Back to my story about what happened today. Well, Kathy said maybe with
all that praying is what helped with my husband's job. So, I went back
in my mind and thought about it, and I'm here to tell you that it just
so happens to be that not more than a week went by after I had seen all
those orange shirts is when my husband started to work--with pay.
My husband and I did a lot of praying, but I can truly say that I
believe that with all of your members praying that really got our
prayers answered. Thank you very much!
